Like many people, I’ve been afraid to express my opinions on this issue due to the political nature of it. But I will no longer stay silent and we all have to be brave enough to speak our minds. So here I am speaking my mind…

Here’s where we as Americans can download the historical list of grades given by the NRA. This is a case where an F is the most desirable grade. The NRA’s website now makes this difficult to find and going to their website actually might induce vomiting for some. I know I’m feeling a bit sick to my stomach right now.
You want a gun? Fine!
Here’s what you need to do…
- extensive background check – I’m talking CORI report, psych eval, forensic review of social media. Yes, in this case you are guilty until proven innocent.
- Annual training course – you have to certify and re-certify each year. Because it should’t be easier to get a gun than to get a license to do nails.
- Limits on the type and amount of ammunition you can buy. Because if you are buying that much, you are already suspicious.
- Fingerprint ID – so only the person that the gun is issued to can use the gun. Because if my phone can do it, so should your fucking gun.
Let’s remember everyone who has died senselessly at the hand of someone with a gun. Someone’s who’s right to freedom outweighs that individual’s right to live.
